A: To defog or help prevent windshield fogging under most conditions: A. Set the air intake control to the "Fresh" air mode position" not recycle.
B. Set the air distribution mode select to the "0Defrost" mode position. (Note: In this position and in the "Foot/Defrost" mode position, the A/C will come on automatically which helps to dry the air.) C. For best results, set the temperature control to the warm or hot air position. D. Turn on the fan. Q: My windshield wipers chatter and I have changed the blades and the problem persists.
A: Sometimes the wiper arm can be twisted, causing the blade to shovel the water off the glass rather than dragging the water off the glass. This would cause the wiper to chatter only in one direction of the blade. The solution is to watch the wipers in action and see which way it is shoveling the water and twist the arm (near the blade attachment point) in the opposite direction. You will need a pair of vice grips to do this. |
